The Alba flower vase is formed by flames and pure muscle power. In a Swiss metal spinning shop, craftsmen work according to a traditional method. They press copper onto an existing mold and heat it with a flame from time to time so that it stays pliable. The different high temperatures on the metal surface create fascinating temper colours from orange to green to purple, as if by magic.
With the Alba vase, the reaction of the material is deliberately used as a design element: The drawings and colours on the upper edge of the finished object are always different and make each vase unique.
