This syrup exudes the mysticism and the mossy scent of the forest. The woodruff herb, also called “Herfreudeli” in Bernese German, grows in our shady red beech forests. Mysterious powers have always been ascribed to the master of the forest. In the Middle Ages, the woodruff is said to have driven away demons, today it is considered anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic.
All syrups are produced and bottled in the syrup factory in Bern.
